From a musical family, Rose is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar. She performed violin in orchestras and string quartets and sang in choirs all through her life. Rose has performed in America, Japan, India and Europe and studied Suzuki Method teacher training in Japan with Dr. Shinichi Suzuki and has been to India ten times for music study. Rose is a music disciple of Pandit Pran Nath and Ustad Hafizullah Khan and studied and performed with Terry Riley, La Monte Young, Zakir Hussain. She is also a private music teacher and performer for the past thirty-five years.
